We did tell you how Sushmita Sen was melting in Delhi because of the heat. It’s a different story that the once sexy damsel who upped the temperature with her oomph, will probably need all the heat to melt the fat that she has put on. While there for a shooting schedule, Sush frequents a Delhi gym with her personal trainer, and everyone at the fitness centre is talking about how 'out of shape' she is. It’s time this Sen return to her sensuous avatar. How? Well, Sush you’ll just have to ‘figure’ that one out!

Mallika Sherawat seems to have enjoyed herself shooting for Ugly Aur Pugly. And the scenes she loved most were probably those where she slapped Ranvir Shorey. According to the buzz doing the rounds the actress slaps Ranvir 99 times in the film. Poor guy! But to make up for all the action she gives him one kiss. Yes, there’s one hot kiss… And Ranvir says made up for all the tight slaps! Well, after reading this, he can expect a few more (slaps, we mean) from girlfriend Konkona SenSharma, too!
Shahid Kapoor mobbed!
Recently the actor was shooting for director Aziz Mirza’s Kismet Konnection at Nariman Point when he got mobbed by about 2,000 people on the streets. It was at 9 pm and the scene required Shahid to walk on the road but as soon as he stepped out of his car, a mob of 2,000 people gheraod him and they could not shoot further. Finally they a booked a room for the actor at a five-star hotel closeby, where he stayed till 3 in the night after which he came out and shot for the scene. Though the actor faced some inconvenience, the director and producer Ramesh Taurani are more than happy that their star has such a huge fan following. “I am happy that Shahid is so popular and he is the hero of my film,” said Taurani.

If Saif Ali Khan is to be believed, his marriage to Kareena Kapoor willl happen sooner than expected. The actor, peeved by reports that he has been crowding Kareena with his attention, said, “Of course, I want to be with her as much as I can. My regret is we can’t be together more often. We’re uncannily similar people and I’ve only now begun to understand why I need to be with her constantly.” Earlier this month Saif flew down to Amsterdam to be with her when she was performing on stage. “I went there for myself, not for her. I understand people want to put our relationship under a miscroscope. But there’s only so much that they can know or perceive,” said Saif. Sounding fiercely committed, he added, “With due respects to the other relationships in my life, after Amrita and my kids, this is the most important relationship I’ve had. And I’m ready to make it legal.” Is he contemplating marriage sooner than the three-four years target they had set? “Much sooner. In fact people may be hearing an announcement from us very soon. If I had my way I’d marry her today, right here in London, where she’s joined me.” He is aware it would take his children Sarah and Ibrahim a while to get used to the changes in his life. “I’m not going to pretend that my children, Kareena and I have become one big family. An injured Akshay Kumar saved from deadly sharks by timely intervention from cast and crew
Akshay Kumar is no novice when it comes to flirting with danger. However, a recent underwater stunt almost cost him his life, when the actor accidentally injured himself at a depth of about 75 ft. He was shooting in the Bahamas for Blue — an action adventure set underwater that also stars Sanjay Dutt and Lara Dutta — near a real shipwreck that involved him indulging in underwater action with almost 35 sharks around. Says a unit hand, “Akshay is a certified deep sea-diver. But the stunt went wrong when Akshay hit his head against the shipwreck and started bleeding. We were worried about him fainting and needing immediate medical attention because the metal was rusted, but our main concern were the sharks, since they get attracted to the smell of blood.” However, it was the cast and crew’s timely intervention that the actor was saved at the nick of time. It was difficult to get Akshay out of the water immediately, so the crew just left everything and rushed to Akshay to cover his wound where the blood was oozing out. Though the shark trainers tried to cage the sharks and take them in the opposite direction, there was always the danger of the blood attracting other sharks in the deep sea. “So, our main aim was to keep his wound covered and we later pulled him to safety surrounded by the crew members. Akshay being the daredevil that he is, tried to brush it off as a minor mishap, but the entire unit was left shaken considering it was a very close call. In fact, he even joked about it to all of us, to break the seriousness on the sets,” the source added.

Our sources say that Rani isn't happy about Ameesha's guest appearance being a full-fledged role.Says a friend of Rani, "The only thing brief about Ameesha's role is the clothes her character wears. Otherwise we wonder why she has been credited as a 'guest appearance' in the film. Ameesha is there in the film right from the opening almost to the end. What was Kunal Kohli thinking about when he kept insisting in all his press interviews that she had just a song and few scenes? That was untrue."Our source adds, "In fact, Kunal spent a lot of time money and effort in styling Ameesha's character. Her character is inspired by Malaika Arora. The actor says he was shocked and embarrassed after reading reports about him making uncharitable remarks about Kareena. The remarks attributed to him about Kareena being 'robotic' in her performances had upset Harman.
'I'd never speak like that about anyone, least of all someone who is a senior (colleague) and was gracious enough to work with me when I was just starting out. That she finally opted out of 'Love Story 2050' doesn't take away from the fact that we got along really well,' Harman, who has teamed up with Priyanka Chopra in the film, told IANS.
Harman's agony ended while he was in Delhi for an event earlier this week. On an impulse he sent an SMS to Kareena, telling her how awful the words attributed to him about her made him feel.

'Professional' Shahid shoots all night
Actor Shahid Kapoor has earned the tag of being a true "professional" after he shot a song for "Kismat Konnection" through the night after a full day's work!
Shahid, who stars opposite Vidya Balan in the forthcoming movie, worked into the wee hours of the morning to shoot for the song "Ba khuda", said producer Ramesh Taurani.
"Shahid being the professional that he is volunteered to shoot the song in the night after we packed up our day's work. So the shooting of the video began at 12 in the night and went on till four in the morning."
"We shot for two days and completed it," Taurani was quoted as saying.
He added: "Getting Shahid's dates was a hassle because we were already shooting non-stop for another video in the film."
Directed by Aziz Mirza, "Kismat Konnection" is set for release July 18.

Sporting straightened hair and an unbuttoned shirt, Manpreet expressed his desire to Salman of becoming a model and a star just like him someday on which Salman sportingly requested Manpreet to button his shirt as he was getting an inferiority complex! The crowd whistled and cheered for Manpreet as Manpreet ousted his competitor Laxmi (an eunuch) to proceed on the show.
Onscreen Salman and Manpreet were sharing a great rapport but what touched us was their off-screen affection for each other! When Manpreet told Salman that accompanying him was his sister who had come all the way from Kolkata to see him, Salman asked her to come on the stage and meet him!
“She was extremely delighted and had got a rakhi along to tie it on Salman’s wrist as she wanted to be his sister! Salman too expressed his surprise as not many women desire to be his sister. He jokingly added, “I already have two sisters!” However he obliged to the girl’s request and let her tie him rakhi! Salman didn’t do it for TRP as he also greeted Manpreet and his sister back stage and spoke to them like he was their family”, said a spectator present on the show.

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan denies media reports that his son Abhishek lost his temper and slapped a spot boy on the sets of his film "Drona".
"This is a laughable matter. Abhishek does not have the ability to strike a fly. He does have the ability though to attract incongruous and totally incorrect press. There has been absolutely no such incident on set. It is a fabrication of the highest order," he wrote on his blog www.bigb.bigadda.com.
Amitabh also rubbished the earlier incident when Abhishek had beaten up a photo journalist.
"The earlier incident with a press photographer was another complete fabrication," Amitabh stated.
The Big B has been posting a lot of complaints against the media on his blog lately.
His recent addition reads: "We are aware that certain media and journalists have painstakingly taken it upon themselves to build animosity towards us and follow religiously an unprofessional bias that will never change."

Imagine the embarrassment of relishing scrumptious hotdogs and realizing that you do not have any money on you to pay the seller? That too in a foreign country! More so when you have just introduced yourself as a top actress and director of India!
This embarrassing but funny incident occurred when Vidya (Balan) and Aziz Mirza were shooting for Kismat Konnection in Canada. Hotdogs happen to be one of Vidya's and Aziz's favourite delicacies and the duo just decided to have it from one of the vendors on the street. Vidya ordered her favourite flavour, while Aziz ordered his! The two even initiated a casual conversation with the vendor where Vidya introduced Aziz as India's leading film director, while Aziz said that Vidya was India's number one Bollywood actress. The vendor seemed pretty impressed by what Vidya and Aziz had to say about each other while handing over the freshly made hotdogs. Vidya and Aziz could not help but sink their teeth into it. Aziz and Vidya then reached out for their wallets to pay the vendor. But hey there was no moolah to pay the hotdog seller.
It was then that they realised that they had forgotten their respective wallets in the hotel room. Vidya did not know where to look, while Aziz smiled embarrassedly. The vendor did not make any brouhaha about it. Being a Bollywood fan, he said that it was on the house. But Vidya and Aziz, moved by his generosity, immediately sent the payment across once they reached the hotel. Some "Kismat Konnection" this is!

She is the latest Yashraj heroine and she is looking like a million dollars. Amisha Patel as Malaika in Kunal Kohli’s Thoda Pyar Thoda Magic is hogging the limelight as the actress with the amazing oomph factor.
While much was being said and written about Bebo’s sixe zero, Amisha was quietly shedding away all the extra flab. Dressed in her short cocktail dresses with broad belts that accentuated her tiny waist and showed off her lovely legs, TPTM, is very much a career high for Amisha.
But unlike most actresses who would have been in Mumbai to hear for themselves the accolades that have been pouring in, Amisha chose to be in Pune to spend time with her grandmother who is turning 90 today. Skipping the shows kept for the film fraternity by Yash Chopra, Amisha was busy arranging a birthday party. An animated Amisha confessed, “I would have loved to be in Mumbai to hear the compliments. I have worked really hard on looking what I look like right now, getting into the minutest of details regarding my shoes, clothes and bags to look perfect for the role, but being in Pune is more important. And although Rani Mukherji may have used magical proportions to have shooed her away from Saif’s life in the film, TPTM, she might not find it that easy to do away with a gorgeous Amisha Patel in the real world.
While much was being said and written about Bebo’s sixe zero, Amisha was quietly shedding away all the extra flab. Dressed in her short cocktail dresses with broad belts that accentuated her tiny waist and showed off her lovely legs, TPTM, is very much a career high for Amisha.
But unlike most actresses who would have been in Mumbai to hear for themselves the accolades that have been pouring in, Amisha chose to be in Pune to spend time with her grandmother who is turning 90 today. Skipping the shows kept for the film fraternity by Yash Chopra, Amisha was busy arranging a birthday party. An animated Amisha confessed, “I would have loved to be in Mumbai to hear the compliments. I have worked really hard on looking what I look like right now, getting into the minutest of details regarding my shoes, clothes and bags to look perfect for the role, but being in Pune is more important.
