Salman’s at the receiving end!

Salman Khan seems to have hit the right chords with his audiences in 10 Ka Dum and the actor’s small screen avtar has only won him some more brownie points — a feat so far managed only by Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. But the actor might soon surpass their popularity as a host, if the response the actor’s been getting is anything to go by. So, while several television shows have broken the image of distant and unapproachable stars like Big B on whose show every participant got to shake hands and give him a hug and Shah Rukh Khan, who went a step ahead and gave into requests for dialogues and gifted his personal artifacts, Salman seems to have a different approach to it all together. He just stands to receive it all. Not just love and affection, but gifts galore. Every single contestant on 10 Ka Dum unfailingly brings a gift for the superstar — from books, to kurtas to bed-sheets with his image printed on it to flowers, to paan and even homemade biryani! However, what’s grabbing the eyeballs is that not just the contestants, but almost all of their spouses not only want to dance with him and hug him, but also end up kissing him too, much to the superstar’s embrassment. But, we’re sure for once Salman’s not complaining of being at the receiving end.
